A cooler vintage lead to fresh bright acidity being maintained in the Chardonnay, sharp contrast to the hot and dry vintage previous. The lower temperatures help preserve natural acidity and allow longer aging potential of the wines. This wine was made without oak to showcase the bright fruit and minerality.
