With 100% estate-grown fruit. this barrel fermented Chardonnay spent 10 months maturing in French Oak. Appearing a bright straw-yellow colour in the glass, the nose shows citrus peel, melons, candied oranges and a hint of butter and barrel spice. The palate offers a creamy smooth texture with oaky vanilla and toasted bread crumb flavours popping out on the finish.
Winemaker's Pairing Suggestions: Try with dried fruit and curried chicken salad, tuna mango ceviche or semi soft chèvre goat's cheese
