2020 Dean’s List Pinot Noir

Description/Winemaker’s Notes

The 2020 vintage was a winemaker’s dream, with dry and warm summer which continued into the fall, along with cool evenings. We were able to let the grapes hang a little longer to develop dark fruit flavours and a rich tannin profile.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby-garnet colour. Cherry and a touch of tobacco on the nose. Fresh raspberries and currents, with a touch of baking spice. Medium body with good acidity and lingering red fruit finish.

Pairing Suggestions

Mushroom risotto, duck confit with a cherry glaze, or flank steak with chimichurri.
