The first crop of Cabernet Franc from our Taylor Road Vineyard was grown in perfect conditions and although a smaller yield, it offered amazing ripeness. This wine was fermented on skins for two weeks and aged in large format oak foudres for 8 months before being transferred to smaller oak barrels.
Beautiful bright ruby colour, dark fresh fruit, and well integrated oak on the nose. The palate offers freshness and juiciness with elegant tannin and a medium finish.
Skirt steak and chimichurri, or grilled peppers.
