2023 Dean's List Cabernet Franc Rose

Description/Winemakers Notes

Made from the young vines on our estate property, this bold Rosé packs a (Hawaiian) punch. Direct to press after 12 hours on skins gave us a colour better than we could have imagined. Throughout the ferment, the aromas were showing us cranberry juice and fruit punch. This is no rose to snooze on!

Tasting Notes

Bright pink colour pairs perfectly with its fruity nose and confident flavours. At first nosing there is ripe strawberry and hints of watermelon, and a touch of earthiness. The palate offers strawberry rhubarb, with a dry and almost savoury finish. So much red fruit here.

Pairing Suggestions

Strawberry compote and shortcake, watermelon and feta salad with mint, or turkey burgers.
