Description/Winemakers Notes:
Made from the young vines on our estate property, this bold Rose packs a (Hawaiian) punch. Direct to press after 12 hours on skins gave us a colour better than we could have imagined. Throughout the ferment, the aromas were showing us cranberry juice and fruit punch. This is no rose to snooze on!
Tasting Notes:
Bright pink colour pairs perfectly with its fruity nose and confident flavours. At first nosing there is ripe strawberry and hints of watermelon, and a touch of earthiness. The palate offers strawberry rhubarb, with a dry and almost savoury finish. So much red fruit here.
Pairing Suggestions:
Strawberry compote and shortcake, watermelon and feta salad with mint, or turkey burgers.
